George Brown College’s Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Technician Program
Join our program to gain the skills you need to size, install, and maintain HVAC systems for homes and small businesses. Our curriculum is designed to build your knowledge in the design, operation, and upkeep of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
As energy efficiency becomes increasingly important, we focus on key issues like rising fuel costs, indoor air quality, and climate change. You’ll learn to adopt environmentally friendly and energy-saving practices, aligning with industry standards from respected organizations such as HRAI, ASHRAE, and the Canada Green Building Council.
With hands-on training and real-world applications, you’ll be well-prepared for a rewarding career in the HVAC/R industry!
Ensure all documentation verifying these requirements is submitted with your application.
IELTS (academic): 6.0, minimum 5.5 in each skill band
TOEFL: 80 (online) minimum 20 in each skill band
Duolingo: 110 min overall score
PTE: 54, overall minimum, 50 in each skill band
Add certificate and grades from the last 3 years of your secondary education. Math and English grades of the last year should be above 50%.
