The Greece Golden Visa Program, introduced in 2013, allows non-EU nationals and their families to obtain permanent residence permits in Greece, which can be renewed every five years. The program offers various investment options:

Real Estate Investments:

1. Purchase real estate valued at a minimum of EUR 250,000, plus applicable taxes, or EUR 500,000 in areas like Mykonos, Santorini, Thessaloniki, and most municipalities in Athens.
   

2. Enter a 10-year lease for hotel accommodations or furnished tourist residences in designated tourist complexes (Article 8 of Law 4000/2001).
   

3. Sign a 10-year timeshare agreement for hotel accommodations (Law 1652/1986).
   

Other Investment Options:

Capital Transfer:

1. Make a term deposit of at least EUR 400,000 in a Greek bank for a minimum of one year, with automatic renewal.
   

Capital Contribution:

1. Contribute at least EUR 400,000 to a Greek-based company (excluding portfolio and real estate investment companies) for shares in a capital increase or bonds listed on regulated markets or trading platforms in Greece.
   

2. Invest a minimum of EUR 400,000 in a real estate investment company (Article 21 of Law 2778/1999) focused exclusively on Greece.
   

3. Contribute at least EUR 400,000 to a closed-end investment company (Article 5 of Law 2367/1995) or a closed-end mutual fund (Article 7 of Law 2992/2002) that invests exclusively in Greek-based companies.
   

Shares, Bonds, and Government Bonds:

1. Purchase Greek government bonds worth at least EUR 400,000 with a residual maturity of three years, through a Greek bank that will act as the custodian.
   

2. Invest a minimum of EUR 800,000 in shares or corporate bonds traded on Greek regulated markets or multilateral trading platforms.
   

3. Acquire units in a mutual fund valued at a minimum of EUR 400,000, incorporated in Greece or another country, with the intention of investing in Greek shares, corporate bonds, and/or government bonds.
   

4. Purchase units or shares in an alternative investment fund, with a minimum value of EUR 400,000, focused on real estate in Greece, established in Greece or another EU country.
