The country also boasts a robust healthcare system, diverse cultural landscape, and abundant natural beauty, making it a highly desirable destination for people seeking a fulfilling and balanced lifestyle.
The Canada Start-Up Visa (SUV) Program offers foreign entrepreneurs the chance to establish innovative businesses in Canada while applying for permanent residence.

Canada is one of the world's wealthiest nations, boasting a high per-capita income and a prominent trade market. On the other hand, the Quebec Investor Immigration Program is designed for global investors seeking a Quebec work permit, with the potential to obtain permanent residency in Canada shortly thereafter.

Under the Start-Up Visa Program, clients must prepare and submit a comprehensive business proposal, which needs to be approved by a designated government business organization. This organization could be a business incubator, an angel investment group, or a venture capital fund, depending on the chosen investment option. Once the proposal is approved, the client receives a letter of support, enabling them and their family to apply for permanent residence. The entire process can take anywhere from 12 to 37 months.
Similarly, under the Quebec Investor Immigration Program, the client's application is processed by the Quebec Government. After approval is granted, the required investment can be made. To meet residency requirements, a minimum stay of at least 12 months within two years following the issuance of the work permit is mandatory. Of these 12 months, at least six must be completed by the main applicant, while the remaining six months can be fulfilled by either the main applicant or their spouse. The process typically takes about 12 months to obtain the initial work permit and an additional 12 months to secure the permanent residence permit.
To maintain permanent resident status in Canada, the client must be physically present for at least two out of five years (or 730 days). Failure to meet this requirement could result in the loss of permanent resident status.
After residing in Canada as a permanent resident for three years (1,095 days) within a five-year period, eligible individuals can apply for citizenship.
The Canadian passport is ranked among the top 10 globally on the Henley Passport Index, granting visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to more than 180 destinations worldwide.
The Canada Residence by Investment Program offers individuals and their families the opportunity to gain residency through two distinct pathways: the Canada Start-Up Visa (SUV) Program, which focuses on innovative entrepreneurs, and the Quebec Investor Immigration Program (QIIP), designed for experienced investors. Both programs provide a unique gateway to permanent residency and a new life in Canada.
The Canada Start-Up Visa (SUV) enables foreign entrepreneurs to launch businesses in Canada and apply for permanent residence, fostering innovation and economic growth. Meanwhile, the Quebec Investor Immigration Program (QIIP) provides wealthy investors with a Quebec work permit, allowing them to apply for permanent residence in Canada after one year, making it an attractive option for those seeking to invest in the country’s future.
Benefits include the right to live, work, and study in Canada, visa-free travel to many countries, and access to a high quality of life and world-class education.
There is no minimum investment amount for creating an innovative start-up business but the minimum investment amount for obtaining Canadian residence through the Quebec Investor Immigration Program (QIIP) is CAD 1.2 million.
